1. Your interactions

You are responsible for how you talk to other members. We make no promise about anyone’s conduct or whether you will be compatible.

If you choose to meet or share personal details, do your own homework. Meet in public. Tell a friend. Never send money.

HERO Matchmaker is not liable for injury, distress, or other harm arising from conversations or meetings that start here.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You represent that your registration information is true, and you will keep it that way. Your account is for your personal use only — do not let someone else use it. We may delete a profile without warning if we find you misrepresented your age.

3. Membership and fees

These terms apply while you use the site. You may close your account at any time from Profile. We may close it by emailing the address on the account. We may charge for the service in the future, and we may close an account for a breach of these terms or a failed payment.

4. Personal use only

This site is for personal dating, not a storefront. Do not harvest emails, scrape profiles, run ads, or recruit members without our written approval. Commercial pitches in profiles can be removed and may cost you the account.

5. Our content

HERO Matchmaker and its licensors own the site, the name, the flag heart mark, and the service. Do not copy, sell, or wrap our materials in another product without written permission.

6. Your content

You are responsible for photos, bio text, and messages you post. We may review and remove anything that breaks these terms, is illegal, or puts someone at risk.

By posting to public areas of the site, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content here. The license ends when you remove the content.

Do not post content that:

• promotes hate, violence, or harassment
• is spam, junk mail, or a chain letter
• is false, abusive, or defamatory
• infringes someone else’s copyright
• exploits anyone under 18
• teaches illegal activity
• asks others for passwords or money
• sells goods or runs contests without our consent

Do not impersonate anyone, share your password, sell your profile, or automate the service. Do not use information from the site to harass people off the site.

7. Copyright

If you believe something here infringes your copyright, write to us through Contact Us with a description of the work, where it appears, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that you are the owner or their agent. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

8. Member disputes

Disputes between members are yours to handle. We may step in. We do not have to.

9. Disclaimers

The site is provided as-is. We do not promise that you will match, go on a date, or find a relationship. Demo and AI-generated profiles in this beta are covered in the section on beta testing and entertainment, below.

We are not responsible for inaccurate profiles, member conduct online or off, outages, lost messages, or harm that follows from using the site. Use your own judgment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HERO Matchmaker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during your membership.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which HERO Matchmaker is based, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to venue there.

12. Indemnity

You will hold HERO Matchmaker and its people harmless from claims that arise from your use of the service or a breach of these terms.

13. Using the site for beta testing and entertainment

HERO Matchmaker gives users the opportunity to create a profile, browse members, and interact with others on the site. This website is currently offered as a beta and for evaluation, amusement, and entertainment. There is no guarantee that you will find a date or partner on HERO Matchmaker or by using our service. You agree that some features of the site are intended to let you explore the product and to provide entertainment.

You also understand and agree that there are profiles on HERO Matchmaker that exist purely for testing, demonstration, and entertainment purposes, including demo profiles and AI-generated accounts. You acknowledge and agree that any such profiles, as well as communications from such profiles, may not be true, accurate, or authentic and may be exaggerated, fictional, or fantasy. You acknowledge and understand that you may be communicating with profiles designed for those purposes, and that we are not responsible for such communications.

Those entertainment, demo, and AI-generated profiles are not seeking physical meetings with anyone they encounter on the site. Their communications with users and members are for amusement, product testing, and demonstration only. Demo and AI-generated profiles are marked with a Beta tag. Do not assume that any profile is a real person available to meet unless we clearly mark it as such.

If you choose to move a conversation off the site or meet anyone in person, you do so at your own risk. In this beta, HERO Matchmaker does not conduct background checks or identity verification and does not guarantee that information on any profile is accurate.

14. Other

These terms are the whole agreement. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. Section titles are for reading, not for lawyers. HERO Matchmaker is a trademark of HERO Matchmaker. Questions? Contact us.
