Terms of Use
HERO Matchmaker is a dating service for military, first responders, and the people who stand with them. HERO Matchmaker is operated by Torrey Studio. By using this site — whether or not you create an account — you agree to these Terms of Use.
The operator can be reached at hello@torrey.studio. For member support, write support@heromatchmaker.com. We may update these terms. The current version lives on this page. Keep using the site after a change and you accept the new terms. These terms include our Privacy Policy.
Choose carefully what you post. Photos may not include nudity, violence, or other offensive material. Other members may post things that are inaccurate or unwelcome. We are not responsible for what they write.
We may refuse, remove, restrict, suspend, or close access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason.
1. Your interactions
You are responsible for how you talk to other members. We make no promise about anyone’s conduct or whether you will be compatible.
If you choose to meet or share personal details, do your own homework. Meet in public. Tell a friend. Never send money.
HERO Matchmaker is not liable for injury, distress, or other harm arising from conversations or meetings that start here.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. CSAE and CSAM are banned. See our Child Safety Standards.
3. Your account
Joining, Discover, Super Likes, matches, and messages are free. Optional HERO Plus is $1.49 a week or $5.00 a month, coming soon, and not on sale yet. Cancel anytime once it launches. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
Do not post content that:
- promotes hate, violence, or harassment
- is false, abusive, or defamatory
- exploits anyone under 18
- promotes human trafficking, including sexual exploitation
- aids, abets, or encourages abuse
You may not use HERO Matchmaker for human trafficking, including sexual exploitation. You may not aid, abet, or encourage abuse of any person. The full banned list is in our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Law and law enforcement
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. How we handle subpoenas, warrants, and emergency requests is in our Law Enforcement Protocols.
