Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What we collect

• You can sign in with email or with Google. For email, we collect your name, email address, and password, and we confirm that email with a link, not a one-time code. Google sign-in uses your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
• Profile information you add or edit: age, gender, location, service, branch, rank, bio, photos, and the optional details under your bio.
• Who you want to meet, and the distance you set.
• Likes, Super Likes, matches, and messages.
• Notes you send through Contact Us.
• Basic session information needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to run matching, show profiles, deliver messages, keep the community safe, and improve the service. We collect only what we need for those purposes and protect it with reasonable safeguards.

Payments

HERO Plus is coming soon and is not on sale yet. When it launches, Stripe will bill optional HERO Plus. We do not store your full card number. Stripe’s privacy policy covers card data.

Who helps us run the site

We use these service providers:

• Hosting, to serve the site.
• A database, to store accounts, profiles, likes, matches, and messages.
• Email delivery, when it is enabled, to send confirmation and password links.
• Stripe, for payments once HERO Plus launches.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while the account is open and deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Reports and safety records may be kept up to 1 year to protect members, unless the law requires longer.

Your choices

Edit or delete your account from Profile. Write through Contact Us for access or deletion help.
