We cooperate with valid legal process. We do not hand over member information without it, except in a true emergency.

How to submit a request

1. Use Contact Us. Set the subject to “Law enforcement request.”
2. Send it from an official agency email address.
3. Include the agency name, case number, requesting officer, and a copy or description of the subpoena, court order, or search warrant.

What we require

A valid subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States. Informal emails are not enough.

Emergencies

If there is an imminent risk of death or serious bodily harm, mark the note as an emergency and include the facts that show the risk.
