Refund and Cancellation Policy

HERO Matchmaker is an 18+ dating service. Matching is free. The only paid product is optional HERO Plus. There are no physical goods, no shipping, and no restocking fees.

What you pay

Join, Discover, Super Like, likes, undo, matches, and messages are included at $0. Optional HERO Plus is $1.49 every week or $5.00 every month, billed in USD through Stripe. Current prices are on Pricing.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel HERO Plus at any time. Canceling stops future charges. Access already paid for lasts until the end of that week or month. After that, matching stays free.

To cancel, write through Contact Us with the subject “Cancel Plus” and the email on your account. We will stop the subscription in Stripe.

Refunds

• Duplicate charges, mistaken charges, or a charge we made in error are refunded in full.
• If you ask within seven days of a HERO Plus charge, we refund that charge.
• After seven days, that period is not refunded. Cancel to stop the next charge.
• Matching is never charged, so there is nothing to refund for matching.

How to ask

Use Contact Us. Set the subject to “Refund.” Include the email on the account and the date of the charge if you have it. We process refunds through Stripe, back to the original payment method. Banks often show the credit in five to ten business days.

Fees

You are refunded the amount you paid. Stripe may keep its processing fee on the original charge. That fee is Stripe’s, not a HERO Matchmaker cancellation fee.
